ART OF DEVON
Welcome to Art of Devon, a showcase of the sculpture and artwork of Devon Dorrity, whose passion lies in the historical, the mythological, and the timeless beauty of the human form.
ARTIST BIO
Devon Dorrity is a classically trained sculptor whose work bridges the mythological, historical, and humanistic. With a foundation in both digital innovation and traditional craftsmanship, his bronze sculptures are marked by anatomical precision, expressive form, and narrative depth. Devon studied extensively under renowned anatomist and sculptor Andrew Cawrse and has served as an assistant instructor at AnatomyTools. His sculptures have been featured in prestigious exhibitions such as Spectrum at the Museum of American Illustration in New York, and he is a recipient of the Chesley Award for Best Three-Dimensional Art.
Originally the founder and CEO of a successful software company, Devon transitioned to sculpting full-time in 2021, devoting his focus to large-scale figurative works and public monuments. Working fluidly between traditional clay and digital sculpting, he creates lifelike, emotionally resonant figures that celebrate both the classical tradition and contemporary storytelling. His current projects include commissioned historical and literary figures, developed with a commitment to authenticity, artistry, and technical excellence.

"Sculpture is the art of creating something you can touch, feel, and appreciate from any angle. It is the purposeful and directed act of creation."
